Times Higher Education: Home

Teesside University Students and Staff can now access the Times Higher Education (THE) publication for free, including access to news, features, opinions, data and insight.

You can read current and past articles online and you can also access digital editions of Times Higher Education, including previous archives. 

Follow the instructions below to set up your account, you will need to use you University email address.

Register and read online

• To set up your Times Higher Education account, go to the magazine’s homepage at using the link below
• Click the person icon in the top right corner
• Follow the instructions on screen. You will need to register for the service initially, remember to use your university email address
• After you have registered you can choose the My account option from the person icon and update your Display name, preferences and newsletters options

If you have had a personal subscription, this will need to be closed before you can register with our access. 

Access digital editions

• You will need to have set up your registration as above
• To access digital editions of Times Higher Education, including previous archives, go to the magazine’s homepage at www.timeshighereducation.com
• Click the “Professional” tab, then click “Digital Editions”
• Select the issue you wish to view
