Personalising your CINAHL account

This section of the guide will cover:

You can open CINAHL and search without having to create a personal account but you need to create a personal account in order to:

Save searches (which you can retrieve and re-run later).
Save articles – so you don’t have to look through the full set of results each time you run a search.
Create folders, so you can organise your saved articles.

The username and password you create is personal to you. If you forget your password you will need to Reset it.

Can I access this resource?
To access EBSCOhost databases you must be either:
- A Teesside University undergraduate or postgraduate
- A member of Teesside University staff
- A TUCP student or member of teaching staff at a TUCP College
If you are not a member of any of these groups then unfortunately our licence does not allow access to the resource
