iZone (Ground floor)

Get help on general Library, IT and account enquiries.

Staffed opening hours denote when help is available from the iZone see


Library roving support

Staff are available to give help with general Library and IT enquiries during staffed Library opening hours.


Library Help Live

Chat with a librarian to seek support for library enquiries such as referencing or literature searching. Available via 4:45pm - 10am,  7 days a week.


Learning Hub (Ground floor)

Specialist staff are available to help with researching and writing assignments via the Learning Hub

Drop-in via the iZone with quick enquiries about literature searching and referencing. For more in-depth support, book a one-to-one tutorial.

Too noisy?

If someone is disturbing your study by chatting or making a noise, you can let us know in the following ways:

  • inform a member of staff

  • email - monitored Monday- Friday 09:00 - 17:00

  • text 07557 082824 - monitored 09:00 - 20:00, 7 days per week  (Texts will be charged at your normal network rate.)   

Give brief details of the problem stating which floor you are on and your location on the floor.


Floor 3

When working on Floor 3 please ensure laptops, phones etc are switched to mute and move to another floor before answering calls. Please remember Floor 3 is for silent study.
