Are you considering postgraduate study?
If you're still an undergraduate, you may find it useful to go along to one of the University's PG cafe sessions. Each month they focus on a different postgraduate theme and you can ask current students and recent graduates about their postgraduate experiences, as well as questioning experts in a relaxed environment.
