Creating a reference list (bibliography) from a set of references

A reference list is an A-Z list (by author) of all the resources you have mentioned in your work. It goes at the end of your work and has the full details of the items for readers to locate the source for themselves.

Note: RefWorks uses the term Bibliography for a reference list.

  1. Select All References from the menu on the left-hand side of the screen.

  2. Go to the Create bibliography option on the main toolbar.

  3. Select / search for a citation style – e.g. Teesside University: Harvard Style.
This can be found under Institutional Styles.

  4. Copy the text to the Clipboard.

  5. Paste into a Word document (check the font and text size).

To return to your reference list c
    lick All References.
