Learning Hub drop-in clinics are a place for you to come with quick questions about academic skills such as searching, referencing and academic writing. See https://tees.libcal.com/calendar/clinics for what's on and when.
The drop-ins can provide useful information and tips to help build your confidence so that you develop the skills you need to get the most from your student experience. Student & Library Services are committed to enhancing your potential in your academic studies, personal life and employment. If you need any adjustments to fully access the clinics, please contact libraryhelp@tees.ac.uk in advance.
Drop-ins are offered face-to-face on the ground floor of the library. If you can't make it to a clinic, please email your question to libraryhelp@tees.ac.uk. There’s also a wealth of resources on the Learning Hub web site - see https://libguides.tees.ac.uk/learning_hub
If you require more in-depth support, you may prefer to book a tutorial with one of the team - see https://libguides.tees.ac.uk/lrs/tutorials.
Please note: the drop-in clinics have now stopped for 2021-22. Email and tutorial support continue throughout the summer.
Just come along at the clinic time - no need to book.
Please contact libraryhelp@tees.ac.uk if you would like to suggest other ideas for drop-in clinics.
If you can't attend any of the dates offered there are lots of materials available online. This includes videos of previous workshops, tutorials, animations, helpsheets, top tips and reading lists.
