Objectives

By the time you have completed this tutorial you should be able to: 

  • Work out how to identify the information required when referencing a book
  • Create an accurate reference in the Harvard style, as used by Teesside University

Overview

Referencing is the acknowledgement of the source of information you are alluding to/referring to/quoting from by including the author's/editor's name/s and year of publication within the text of your work.
