Black History Month: Book Group

How to join the group meeting

Our next book and meet...

We'll be meeting at 5:15pm Tuesday 7 November (in the new Exhibition Space on the ground floor of the Library and on Teams) to chat about The Autobiography of Malcom X, a fitting book to read during October, which is Black History Month!

"The Autobiography of Malcolm X is the defiant testament of a man unafraid to speak truth to power." Gary Younge, The Guardian review

"Any socially conscious reader interested in reading about the civil rights movement for Black History Month... should have it at the top of their reading list. University Press review

Even if you don't get a chance to read the book, you may be able to watch this video of Malcolm X at an Oxford University Union Debate in 1964.
