Urgent help and support for mental health

Study facilties

The following study facilities are available, please ask a member of staff for details or email

  • Height adjustable desks and adjustable chairs are available across all floors in the library
  • Low tech aids such as magnification sheets and coloured overlays (please ask at the iZone)
  • Bookable individual study room L2.06, located on Floor 2 of the library, please ask about booking at iZone)

Support available


You can book an appointment for an individual Library induction with a member of Library staff to help familiarise you with services and resources available to help you with your studies.


Help using resources

Any member of staff can assist with retrieval of library material, borrowing and returning items. Please ask library staff if you need any further assistance.


Photocopying and printing

Please ask Library staff for assistance if you need help with photocopying and printing using the University's MyPrint service.


Extended loans

In some circumstances we can arrange to extend the loan period for some books.Please ask at the Library iZone at Middlesbrough campus.
