When you’ve written your individual paragraphs, you should look at them together. How well does your assignment flow? You can imagine your assignment as a waterfall, moving easily from one section to another.
You can also think of your paragraphs as a flight of stairs, guiding your reader towards your conclusion. They should be able to see where you are going with your essay. Each paragraph is a step towards your conclusion, joined to the step before and the step after (Cooper and Shoolbred, 2016)
