Critical Writing Workshops

Have you ever received feedback that your work is too descriptive and would like to know how to improve it?  

Following on from the Critical Thinking and Academic Writing workshops (but you do not need to have attended these), the aim of this generic workshop is to enable you to take a more critical approach in your writing.  It covers:   

  • Differences between descriptive and critical writing   

  • Using critical language  

  • How to write critical paragraphs   

This workshop is not subject specific. It is aimed at undergraduates but is suitable for any level of study.
