Ebook Central is a collection of over 210,000 books and other authoritative content to which we have full-text access. It covers multiple subject areas.

Historical Texts brings together four historically significant collections for the first time: Early English Books Online (EEBO), Eighteenth Century Collections Online (ECCO) 65,000 texts from the British Library 19th Century collection and the UK Medical Heritage Library (UKMHL).

The scanned images and (increasingly) full-text digital versions of over 125,000 books published in English, from the first book printed in English by William Caxton to those published in 1700.

Eighteenth Century Collections Online provides access to the digitised editions of almost 150,000 English language titles published between 1701 and 1800. Materials include books, broadsheets, tracts and printed ephemera and cover a large range of subjects. The complete works of the major writers of the century are available.

Digitised versions of more than 65,000 first editions from the long 19th century, covering philosophy, history, poetry and literature. The collection of over 25 million pages of previously rare and inaccessible content is searchable for the first time, and includes the original typeface and illustrations for each book.

The 19th Century British Pamphlets comprises seven individual collections held in universities within the UK, many of which are whole collections that belonged individual politicians or political families
