What are commuter students?
- Each year around a quarter of new undergraduate students across the UK choose to live off campus
- A commuter student is classed as a student whose term-time address is the same as their home address
- These students live mainly at 'home' with family, a partner, friends or alone. Some live locally and others are spread across the region and beyond.
