Welcome to the Library

Middlesbrough Campus Library opening hours are detailed on the Library homepageServices are available for Teesside University Students and Staff, access is via TUSC. 

Whether you've just arrived at Teesside or are just new to using the Library, all the basics you need to get you up and running are covered here. 

 

Middlesbrough Campus Library is located on Teesside University Campus Heart. Services and facilities are based over 4 floors and each floor has a designated study environment. The University Library is open 24/7 and has just undergone a £2.1m refurbishment to improve your facilities even further.

The Library Welcome Desk located on the ground floor of the Library building, is a single point of contact for all initial face to face library enquiries.

The following services are available at the Library Welcome Desk:

  • General account enquiries and directional advice
  • Information on Library charges
  • Information on using IT in the library
  • Information on study space bookings

Borrow, Return, Renew and Reservations collection are based on the Ground floor.

Entry to the Library

Access control gates are fitted at the entrance to Middlesbrough Campus Library and Library members need a TUSC to enter and exit the library. The use of controlled access helps to improve the management of the Library learning environment.

Please remember to swipe in and swipe out with your TUSC each time, otherwise you may have problems entering the Library on subsequent visits.
