Welcome to the Library

Whether you've just arrived at Teesside or are just new to using the Library, all the basics you need to get you up and running are covered here.

Middlesbrough Campus Library is located on Teesside University Campus Heart. Services and facilities are based over 5 floors and each floor has a designated study environment.

Information on finding and borrowing Library materials, using the services, studying in the Library and how to ask for help are covered here.

The iZone can be found on the ground floor of the library at Middlesbrough Campus. It acts as a reception to the Library building and is a single point of contact for initial face to face library enquiries. Use the link below for more information on the iZone and service available.

Darlington Campus Library enquiries can be directed to the Library Desk located on floor 1 of the building.

Entry to the Library

Middlesbrough Campus Library is open 24/7.

Access control gates are fitted at the entrance to Middlesbrough Campus Library and Library members need a TUSC to enter and exit the library 24/7. The use of controlled access helps to improve the management of the Library learning environment.

Please remember to swipe in and swipe out with your TUSC each time, otherwise you may have problems entering the Library on subsequent visits.

During self service hours access to the Library is via TUSC only for Teesside University Students & Staff only.

To select TUSC related actions such as cancel or replace a lost TUSC use the MyTUSC link below.
