Many of us create copyright all the time, mostly without even knowing it, and use other people’s copyright every day. Whether it's taking a photo on your phone or uploading a video to your vlog, you have created copyright. Copyright describes both the creative work you have made and the law that protects that work.
The Library provides a digitisation service which can create copyright compliant digital copies of journal articles, book chapters and images for teaching purposes. The service is useful for providing selected readings of material which is in high demand, scarce or copyright cleared from the British Library. It also ensures students have access to the same resources whether they are studying on campus or distance learners.
Resources on intellectual property and copyright includes some useful animation clips.
