Renewal

Inter library loan books cannot be renewed through 'My Account' or the self service machines like a normal Library book.

To renew your inter library loan please complete the renewal form.

When requesting a renewal please quote the reference number of your loan (beginning TS), available from the pink slip issued with the book and your username.

Recall

Books obtained through inter library loan may be recalled by the lending library at any time.

This may mean we are not always able to renew your loan.

Charges and timeframe

Renewals depend on our obtaining a response from the lending library, however we aim to respond to you within 2 working days.

• There is a charge of £6.25 associated with each renewal. As part of the University's response to the cost of living crisis, the Library will cover this charge until further notice. This means that inter library loan renewals are currently free of charge to the requester.
