Transformative agreements are a way for publishers to transition their traditional subscription journals to fully open access. The costs of open access are part of an overall Teesside University payment covering both subscriptions (Read) and open access publishing (Publish). They enable TU authors to publish open access without the need to pay further fees in journals that are part of the agreement
